Victoria Moran The titles of her books alone are enough to make you want to hear what Victoria Moran has to say –- "Younger by the Day" (HarperSanFrancisco), "Fit from Within" (McGraw-Hill), and the best-selling "Creating a Charmed Life" (HarperSanFrancisco), which has been translated into twenty-seven languages and is quoted on boxes of Celestial Seasonings teas. Her newest release "Fat, Broke and Lonely No More -- Your Personal Solution to Overeating, Overspending, and Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places," (HarperOne), offers a plan for breaking up with our inner emptiness. Cited as a "women’s wellness visionary," Victoria is the author of ten books, an international speaker on well being and personal growth and a certified life coach. In both her writing and presentations, Victoria speaks to women like a big sister or best friend. She can talk about food and weight issues not just because she’s been free of them for over twenty years, but because she battled them the previous twenty. And when she points the way to creating a charmed life, it’s not from someone who’s never known sorrow. She was widowed at thirty-seven and left to raise a daughter alone. On the other side of that experience she’s found amazing adventures and the kind of joy that renews life. As much a performer and storyteller as a traditional speaker, Victoria takes audiences on an emotional journey from laughter to tears and back again, while providing solid content about taking care of themselves inside and out, living with passion and purpose, and making dreams---even the seemingly impossible ones---come true. She has been a guest on TV and radio programs including Oprah! and NPR’s All Things Considered, and her work has been noted in publications including USA Today, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Family Circle, Fitness, Self, Health, and O, the Oprah Magazine. Her articles have appeared in publications including Ladies’ Home Journal, Woman’s Day, Weight Watchers Magazine, and Yoga Journal. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Victoria is an adopted New Yorker. Her daughter, Adair Moran, is an actress in New York, and Victoria’s second husband, William Melton, is an attorney and author (he wrote "The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Playing the Harmonica"-- no kidding).
