In over ten years of serving this marketplace, we have worked with a wide variety of events, clients, and speakers. CELEBRATING 10 YEARS September 2008 - In September 2008, we reached the 10-year anniversary milestone. It's hard to believe it's been ten years since I sat down in my loft on a hilltop in Portland, Oregon, with my brand new empty Mac, spanking new office furniture, a credenza full of empty files and bookshelves - and an idea. Rather than a speakers bureau representing hundreds of speakers on zillions of topics, I wanted to specialize in health and wellness and market a few excellent speakers I knew very well. So, that's how we started, never dreaming of the people we'd eventually attract and get to know, or the clients we'd serve year after year - thank you very much for co-creating with us! Together we've created the base for so many wonderful things to come!
Jokingly and truthfully, I often refer to myself as a motivational speaker junkie. I love researching speakers. I've reviewed hundreds of speakers and their marketing materials, and I have a keen eye and a nose for talent and authenticity. I've had the good fortune to be connected with many outstanding and valued speakers and clients who have become friends as well as colleagues. And the nature of the business keeps these circles expanding, as we are constantly making connections with new clients, speakers, and organizations, true to our intention of co-creating health and wellness through connections. Our clients experience my personal passion and commitment to the people we represent while working in a trusting, direct relationship with the speaker, and enjoying all of the benefits of a speakers bureau meeting partner.
